Rescue organizations received nearly 600 requests for assistance across the region, primarily for structural issues but also for fallen timber and flooding.

Moist weather were forecast to persist along significant areas of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to pull in damp air against the coastal areas.
Tuesday was predicted as the most rainy day, with continued severe weather risk predicted across various areas of both states.

Health officials alerted that there was an increased chance of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, especially given the current weather patterns.
